Janet Vanderveer

Janet Vanderveer, of Cedarburg, passed away on Monday August 31, 2015 at the age of 84. Janet was born in Alton, IL the daughter of Harrison and Helen Winter, the sister of Lou and David Winter. She married Bill Vanderveer in November of 1950 and had four children. After moving around they settled in Mequon, Wisconsin in 1966 and where they spent the rest of their years. Of her many great loves, gardening, needlepoint, reading, and cooking were some of her favorites. What truly brought her joy was spending time with her family, whom she cared for deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, son Will, daughter Cathy and brother Lou. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her daughters Marty and Trina and son in law Paul. Also survived by her brother Dave (Mary Ann) Winter, sister in law Patsy Winter and many nieces and nephews. Janet was further survived by other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg on Saturday, September 5, from 11 – 2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials of your choice appreciated.
