Janet A. Krause

Janet Ann Krause (nee Myszewski) 75 of Cedarburg, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Janet was born July 22, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (nee Chmiel) Myszewski. Janet was married on September 19, 1959, in Glendale, Wisconsin to her beloved husband Marvin Krause for over fifty-five years. Janet was a long-time resident of Cedarburg Wisconsin where she raised three children. Janet was a good-hearted person who loved to take care of others. Janet enjoyed gardening, reading, maintaining and decorating of her home. She lived for her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren. Janet was an aide at Webster Transitional Middle School for five years and was employed for 26 years at Kohl’s Department Store in Grafton Wisconsin. She was a long-time member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Janet is survived by husband Marvin Krause; Sister Geraldine Anderson; son John (Linda) Krause; daughter Kristen (Peter) Bibby; and grandchildren Tristan Krause, Collin Krause, Thomas Bibby and Erin Bibby. Janet was preceded in death by her daughter Marie Chastek. Janet is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 – 10:30 AM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg. Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM. Memorial contributions may be directed to Cedarburg Friends of the Library.
