Jameson D. Gillis

Jameson David Gillis passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on March 3, 2025. Jameson was born on February 19, 2025 to Patrick and Lauren Gillis, weighing 4 pounds and measuring 16 inches long. He was welcomed into his family by his big brother, Callahan Gillis, and fur-brother, Rowan.

Although his time on earth was far too brief, Jameson spent his life at home with his family, surrounded by immense love and comfort. Despite facing numerous complex medical challenges even before birth, Jameson was a strong little warrior who fought hard to meet his family.

Jameson is survived by his parents, Patrick and Lauren (Pfaffenroth) Gillis, and his big brother, Callahan Gillis. He is also survived by his Grandma, Diane Pfaffenroth; his Grandpa and Nana, Peter and Ann Gillis; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents, and extended family and loved ones.

He is welcomed into his eternal home by his loving Grandpa, David Pfaffenroth, great-grandparents, and other beloved family members.

Jameson’s parents would like to thank the care team and doctors at the Fetal Concerns Center at Children’s Wisconsin for their compassionate and dedicated care.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are greatly appreciated. All donations will be used to provide keepsake items to families experiencing or at risk of experiencing infant loss at Children’s Wisconsin - a program that Jameson’s family benefited from and will forever cherish.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton, WI on Monday, March 10 at 4:30 pm.
