James William “Jim” Stillmank Of Grafton, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away at Aurora Hospital, surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the age of 74. Jim was born on January 27, 1944 in Melrose Park, IL to James P. Stillmank. and Gladys (Nee Hughes) Dullere. Jim was preceded in death by his father, mother and grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol; his son Jim (Christi), his daughter Jody (Bob) Selensky and grandchildren Marie (Amrit) Singh, Katie and Sean Stillmank; Caleb, Noah and Jacob Selensky, and siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to list, but not forgotten. Jim was a Captain in the U.S. Army, a Vietnam War veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. Upon completion of his military duties, Jim attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where he received his master’s degree in psychology. Jim was a 29-year employee of the Port Washington Saukville School District serving as an elementary school counselor at Dunwiddie and Lincoln Elementary Schools. Jim, a self-appointed weather historian, will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor, his compassionate and generous spirit, his unparalleled love and pride in his family and his impressive banana sticker collection. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 17 – 12:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to Brent’s Place, Aurora CO or the American Cancer Society.
