A graveside service will be held on Monday June 11, 2007 – 1:00 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee for James W. Schroeder, 71, of Hurley, WI who died on June 4, 2007 at his home. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.muellerfuneralhome.com James was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 2, 1935 the son of the late Emil and Lydia Nee Lenhart Schroeder. Jim served his country in the United States Air Force. He played in the French Horn in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra from 1961-1964. James also directed and composed for Military StarLights Drum and Bugle Core. Jim’s favorite hobbies included fishing, camping, flying and constructing remote control airplanes, boating photography, gardening, nature and the outdoors. James is survived by his partner Diana nee Paremsky Schroeder; children Barbara Richard Lettermann of Milwaukee, WI, James Kimbell Delaine Schroeder of Florence, WI, Thomas Kelly Schroeder of Belgium, WI, Walter Schroeder of Fredonia, WI, Jeffery Kimberly Schroeder of Oostburg, WI, Eric Schroeder of Saukville, Monel Scott Francek of Decada, WI; grandchildren: Jennifer, Kathleen Sara, Justin, Charlotte, Brandi, Kristen, Kaitlin, Nicholas, Bryndyn, Westdyn, Thomas and Sophia; great granddaughter Jade; sisters Eleanore Jach and Arvella Thubauville; and his best friend Mabel.
