James “Jim” W. Willer Sr., 77, of Egg Harbor, and Marco Island, FL, formerly of Brookfield, died early Monday morning (December 12, 2016) at his home in Egg Harbor following a battle with cancer. He was born July 22, 1939 in Richland Center, WI the son of the late Kurt and Blanche (Berry) Willer. Jim was graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee. He founded Willer Tool Corporation in 1970 in Butler, Wisconsin. The company continues growth and success as run by his sons and proud to be family operated in Jackson, Wisconsin. On August 27, 2003 he married Mary Ann Moore. Together they have enjoyed their time in Egg Harbor and Marco Island, FL golfing, daily interest and trading in the stock market, and socializing with friends. Jim had been active and participated in the Egg Harbor Lions Club projects over the years and the Marco Island Moose Lodge #1990 and Hideaway Beach Marco Island. Family surviving Jim include his wife, Mary Ann Willer of Egg Harbor and Marco Island; four children, Kathryn (James) Spaude of Grafton, Kurt (Connie) Willer of Hartford, Mary Beth (Rick) Waters of West Bend, Jim Jr. (Karen) Willer of Grafton; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; and his brother Gene Willer of Menomonee Falls. Preceding him in death were his parents, Kurt and Blanche Willer; step-son, Brian Bretschneider; two sisters, Colleen and Mary Jane. A celebration and gathering of family and friends in Jim’s honor will be held at Galioto’s Twelve21 1221 Wauwatosa Rd. Cedarburg, on Monday December 19, 5:30 PM. Please No Flowers.
