James (Jim) K. Mutz II of Cedarburg
Jim has succumbed to a long hard battle with cancer on October 8th, 2022 at the age of 57 with his
loving wife by his side.
He was born in Milwaukee to Jim and Janet (Kremaric) Mutz and a 1984 graduate of Homestead High
School.
He was employed for many years at Cedarburg Lumber, Zuern Lumber, and finishing up his career with
Bliffert Lumber.
Jim had a passion for helping family and friends with building projects in his spare time, and took pride
his craft. He was genuinely good to everyone he ever met.
He loved spending time at the lake with family and friends, especially with his grandchildren. He enjoyed
bbqing and making delicious beef jerky, sharing a laugh and stories with family and friends.
He will be missed by his loving wife Brenda, and his son Jimmy Mutz III (Celeste), and grandchildren,
Gracie, Emmett, Mia.
He is further survived by his mother Janet (Ed) Miklas and sisters and brothers: Cheryl (Gregg) Erickson,
Jean (Tony) Brosky, Joe Mutz, and Daryl (Carolina) Mutz.
Also survived by nieces and nephews: Melissa Erickson, Casey (Katherine) Erickson, Joey Brosky, Jackie
(Shae) Goodlett, Jacob Brosky, Tyler Mutz, Olivia Mutz, grandnephew Luke Erickson and many other
family and friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his father Jim Mutz.
My family would like to say thank you to all the wonderful staff that took great care of him during his
stay at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon.
