James Theodore Gall

James Theodore Gall was called to his Heavenly home on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the age of 88.

Jim was born on April 6th, 1936 to Herbert and Marie (Poklasny) Gall of Cedarburg. On August 25, 1956, he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Carol (Gierach) at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg, by Rev Fr. Leo Zingsheim. They were blessed with 68 years of marriage.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Carol Evelyn Gall; devoted children: Douglas (Laura), Ronald (Jan), David (Carolyn), Christine (Morten), Thomas (Cynthia); Grandchildren: David (Gina), Andrew (Kierstin), Steven, Brian, Michael (Taylor), Sherry (Ethan) Luhman, Jesse, Brayden and Cassidy. In addition, he has 11 Great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Marie; infant daughter Peggy, and his three brothers: Donald, Robert and Kenneth.

Jim graduated from Cedarburg high school in 1954. He was a proud member of the Golden Bulldogs and played high school football and basketball for his favorite coach and mentor, Vince Cibik. He attended one year of college at Marquette University on a football scholarship before entering the family business, TriPar Oil. He was also part of the Naval ROTC program during his time in college.

Life long residents of Cedarburg, Jim and Carol resided at Village Pointe Commons in Grafton for the last eight years, where they have many cherished friends. Jim most importantly valued his Catholic faith. He loved spending time with Donald and Louise and family at the cottage on Chain Lake in Sugar Camp, WI. He treasured working in his family businesses of TriPar Oil and Super Sales USA. He enjoyed discussing politics and was entertained by listening to Rush Limbaugh. But the thing that mattered the most to Jim is the love of his life, his wife of 68 years, Carol.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Kathy Momberg, for becoming an honorary member of the family while helping care for Jim.

We are eternally grateful to son David Gall and daughter-in-law Carolyn, who opened their home for Dad and his hospice care, allowing the family to gather and surround him with love until his last breath. Finally, the family has deepest gratitude to daughter Dr. Christine Gall, who provided the most revered and dignified handling of Jim’s medical care. Special thanks also to Lisa and Johana from Horizon Hospice for their superior end of life care for our dad.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 – 1:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church-North, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg, WI. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Father Patrick Burns will officiate the service.

A private burial with immediate family, will take place following Mass at St. Francis Borgia Catholic cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Jim to St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church or the Cedarburg High School Golden Bulldogs are most appreciated.
