James F. Seebruch

James (Jim) Seebruch of Jackson, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the age of 82. Jim had a deep love of horses, the rodeo, and the cowboy way of life.

Jim grew up in Milwaukee, Wi and attended Boys Tech High School. He met his wife Karen (of 50 years) and they moved to the country to start their family on a hobby farm. He was a devoted dad to his two children Louis and Shannon. He also attended to various farm animals including chickens, ducks, pheasants, and two beautiful horses on their hobby farm.

Jim had a creative mind and enjoyed crafting art out of leather. His passion for leather tooling expanded over 60 years. He created numerous masterpieces and many times custom orders for people around the US.

Jim also loved the rodeo and cowboy way of life. In his younger years, Jim followed the rodeo circuit and rode several bulls in the arena. It continued in his older years by attending PBR bull riding events as a spectator. He also had a passion for collecting old western movies, native american artwork, and country music. A majority of his career included working in a printing company as a printer and lithographer and at Miller Brewing Company as a brewer for over 25 years.

The memories of Jim will remain in our hearts and bring us comfort in the years to come. “Welcome to heaven cowboy, your entry fees are paid.”

Beloved husband of Karen for 50 years. Loving dad of Louis (Kris), and Shannon (Michael). Further survived by relatives and friends.

A burial for Jim will take place on Friday, January 5 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery at 2pm. Visitation will be Saturday, January 6 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1268 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend, Wi 53095 from 10:00am to 12:00p with a service at 12:00p with Rev. Hartwig officiating and a lunch will be provided afterwards in the church basement.
