Howard F. Hoppe

A funeral service will be held on Thursday January 15, 2004 – 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home Cedarburg for Howard F. Hoppe, 92, of Mequon who died at Cedar Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center on January 8, 2004. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 NOON until time of service with burial following at Immanuel Cemetery. Rev. Pete Peterson officiating. Howard was born on June 23, 1911 in Milwaukee, WI the son of the late Emil and Hilda nee Eggert Hoppe. He graduated from Washington High School, Milwaukee, WI. Howard married the late Ida C. nee Potzner on August 7, 1939. Howard served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves in the 1930’s; was a member of the Quarter Century Club at North Western Mutual Insurance Co. where he worked for over 40 years at the home office in Milwaukee. Howard enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Howard is survived by his children: Charles and Richard Hoppe; sister Eunice Talbert. Further survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
