Hilda Tischer (Nee Kringel)

A funeral service be will held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Davids Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Jackson (Kirchhayn), for Hilda Tischer (nee Kringel) of Jackson, age 92 years, who went to meet the Lord on January 12, 2008. Interment church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the church from 12 noon until time of service. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.muellerfuneralhome.com Hilda was born on April 25, 1915, in Jackson, WI and was the daughter of the late Max and Alma (nee Heckendorf) Kringel. She married Clarence Tischer on November 23, 1940 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church on Pleasant Valley Rd. Hilda and Clarence had a farm together in the town of Jackson where they raised their family. They celebrated 60 years of marriage together. Hilda was a hard worker and helped Clarence with the farm with raising the chickens, picking potatoes, milking cows and taking care of the home. She was a good baker, especially making bread and rolls. Hilda was not one to ever complain, and she never had a negative word to say about her children. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a big part of her life, bringing her great joy. Hilda was preceded in death by Clarence, her parents and her brother, Edwin. Hilda is survived by her loving children Ronald (Margaret) of Germantown, Arlene (Karl) Kumm of Waukesha, Dennis (Elfrieda) of Jackson and Sharon (Mark R.) Schmeling of Rubicon. She was the cherished grandma of Daniel; Melinda, Karl and Brian Kumm: Kevin (Mandy); David; Jamie (Jason) Koehler; Carrie (fiance Michael Wilde); Mark A. (Lori) Travis and Troy Schmeling; and great-grandma of Savannah, Mickayla, Cora, Tyler, Benjamin, and Griffin. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
