Harold Bates of Cedarburg passed away peacefully on Friday December 28, 2012 at Horizon Hospice Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus at the age of 84 years. Harold was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 7, 1928 to the late Alvin & Louise (nee Dorn) Bates and married Delores (nee Capello) on March 18, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI. Harold was a Navy Veteran serving his country in WWII. He is survived by his wife Delores of Cedarburg, children; Alan of Cedarburg and Christine of Cedarburg, brother; Gilbert (Helen) Bates of Milwaukee, sister-in-law Janice Bates of Appleton. He was preceded in death by 1 brother Wesley. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 2, 1 PM at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory W63 N527 Hanover Ave Cedarburg. Interment will be at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wed. from 11 – 12:45 PM. Memorials to the MACC Fund appreciated.
