Harley I. Pals

Harley I. Pals of Grafton passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton on January 3, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Harley was born in Thornapple, WI to the late Lambert & Augusta (nee Kleinstick) Pals and married the late Joan (nee Gildner) on June 30, 1956 at Capitol Drive Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Harley was a Marine Veteran serving his country from 1942 through 1946. He was a member of the Rose Harms American Legion Post # 355 Grafton, VFW Post # 7588 in Port Washington, Military Order of the Cootie Pup Tent 22 SNAFU, Buckskin Bowman Club of Cedarburg, and was the oldest member of the US Tae Kwon Do Federation. He was also a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. Harley is survived by his children; Susan (Robert) Curtis of Colorado Springs, CO, Patricia (Steven) Robell of Muskego, James (Constance) Pals of Port Washington & Daniel (Sherrie) Pals of Grafton, grandchildren; Mitchel (Barbara) Pals of Grafton & Valerie (Daniel) Peters of Port Washington, great grandchildren; Rex & Melody Pals & Gabriel Peters, step-grandchildren; Kindra and Larissa, sisters; Eunice (Donald) Rudd of Sugar Grove, IL & Margie Schell of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Lisa, 1 brother & 2 sisters. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 10, at 2 PM at Mueller Funeral Home 979 N. Green Bay Rd. Grafton. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM until 1:45 PM. Military walk through will be at 1:45 PM. Memorials of your choice appreciated.
