Greg F. Eichstaedt

Greg F. Eichstaedt Of Grafton died unexpectedly at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon on November 4, 2016 at the age of 68. Greg was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 15, 1948 the son of the late Fred and Marion (Nee Schulz) Eichstaedt. Greg worked as a deputy sheriff for the past 33 years with the Ozaukee Co. Sheriff’s Department. Greg served on the Grafton Planning Commission Board of Appeals. He was a longtime soccer coach at Grafton High School and was chairman of the indoor soccer tournaments at Concordia University. Greg was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and also served as an usher. Greg enjoyed woodworking and loved all sports. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family. Greg is survived by his wife Susan Eichstaedt; Son Scott (Amanda) Eichstaedt; grandchildren: Ethan and Blaine; sister: Cheryl (John) Maloney; brother-in-law: Tom (Cathy) Czaja; other relatives and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 – 1:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Tom DeVries officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Private Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or the Honor Flight appreciated. .
