Gloria J. Strong,

Of Grafton, peacefully passed away surrounded by loving family on February 25, 2024, at the age of 91. She was born on June 5, 1932, to her late parents, Leonard Smith, and Irene (nee Waldman). She was united in marriage on November 5, 1966, at St. Thomas in Milwaukee, WI to her late husband, Wallace “Wally” Strong. Together, their marriage was blessed with three daughters, Irene (Brian) Buechler, Marie (Ted) Manion, and Kathleen “Kathy” (Shawn) Freeland.

Gloria had many interests and hobbies, you could always find her crocheting and reading. She also loved her horses, playing bingo, and spending summers at the farm or up north where she enjoyed boating. But Gloria’s one true hobby was spending time with her beloved family. Gloria’s presence would always light up a room with her gracious smile and loving personality.

Gloria is survived by her three daughters, Irene, Marie, and Kathy, along with six grandchildren, Hunter, Alexandria (Al), Faith, Madeline, Victoria, and Elizabeth. She is further survived by many friends, family, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard, and Irene Smith. Her beloved husband, Wally and her sister, Dorothy.

There will be a celebration of life held for Gloria at a later date.
