Glenn W. Moegenburg

Glenn W. Moegenburg Glenn W. Moegenburg, of McHenry, Illinois, formerly of Cedarburg, passed away May 7, 2018, at the McHenry Villa Retirement Home, at the age of 85 years. Glenn was born in Port Washington, Wisconsin, on July 7, 1932, the son of the late George Moegenburg and the late Frieda (nee Kirst) Moegenburg. He attended Cedarburg High School and shortly after graduation, Glenn was employed by Doerr Electric. He was a faithful and dedicated employee at Doerr Electric, working as a Supervisor for over 40 years, until he retired in 1990. Glenn was a lifelong member at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Cedarburg. He enjoyed bowling but his true love was being out on the open waters fishing, any chance that he could get. Glenn was a resident of Cedarburg for the majority of his life, until he relocated to McHenry, Illinois, to be closer to his daughter. Glenn is survived by his children: Connie (Phillip) Van Treeck, Charles (Lee Ann) Moegenburg, and Dean (Jeannine) Moegenburg; and grandchildren: Amy, Andrew, Molly, Anthony, Timothy, Jessica, and Nicole. He is further survived by 4 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn Moegenburg, his parents, and a brother, Richard Moegenburg. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2018, 2PM at the Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory (W63 N527 Hanover Ave.), Cedarburg. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, at Immanuel Cemetery, in Cedarburg. He will be in state on Saturday, from 1PM until the time of service.
