Glen Farrell

Glen Edward Farrell, 81, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Grafton, Wisconsin. Glen was born November 28, 1931 to Patrick and Margaret (nee Dwyer) Farrell in Askeaton, Wisconsin, the youngest of seven boys. He graduated from Wrightstown High School in 1949 and married Ellen Mae Nies on July 2, 1957. Glen served in the US Army during the Korean War and then became a Pattern Maker, working at Brillion Iron Works in Brillion, Wisconsin. He and Ellen moved to Grafton in 1989 where he worked at Willman Industries. Glen is survived by his loving wife, Ellen, daughter Colleen (Jack) Pedersen, son Richard (Joan) and daughter Marlene (Brian) Byrne. Glen had wonderful grandchildren Adam (Kelly) Pedersen and Erin (Jared) Scott, Patrick Farrell, and Matthew and Maggie Byrne. He also had great grandchildren Matthew, Kiley and Riley Scott. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15 at St. Joseph's Church, 1619 Washington Street, Grafton. The family will greet guests from 9:00-11:30 am in the church foyer with mass at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made with a donation to the Aurora Hospital Cancer Center of Grafton.
