Gertrude L. Recob

Recob, Gertrude L. (nee LeBansky) age 96, of Cedarburg, passed away Aug. 30, 2008. Loving wife of the late Allen C. Recob. Beloved mother of Eugene (Kathie) Recob and Mary (Robert) Ornowski. Proud grandmother of Peter (Jeannie) Ornowski, Katie (Robert) Schwalbach, Nicholas (Kris) Literski, Benjamin (fiance Bobbie Buchholz) Recob, and great grandchildren Nate, Ben, and Catherine Ornowski. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives. Gertrude graduated from Richland County Teachers Normal and began her teaching career in a one room school at Melanthon Creek School in Richland County. After moving to Milwaukee, she taught until her retirement, at St. Agnes Catholic School and Christ the King Catholic School. Gertrude enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, needlework, painting and volunteer work. Private services were held.
