George Sekas 'Dutch'

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2009 11AM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church (1375 Covered Bridge Rd.), Cedarburg, for George Dutch Sekas, who passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Lasata Care Center, at the age of 91 yrs. A visitation will take place prior to the funeral mass at the church from 9-11AM. Father Tom Eichenberger will officiate the funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lasata Care Center or the charity of your choice appreciated. Dutch was born on May 2, 1917 in Cedarburg, to the late John Sekas and the late Anna Kopac Sekas. He later married Maxine Roth on September 10, 1949 and their marriage was blessed with five children. Dutch worked at Kiekhaefer/Mercury Marine for 42 years as a tool maker. Dutch is survived by his loving wife, Maxine, of Grafton, children: Dianne (Dave Watkins) Sekas of Ocean Shores, WA, Beverly Sekas of Fredericksburg, VA, Debra Kobiske of Grafton, David Sekas of Grafton, and Barbara Sekas of Cedarburg, grandchildren; Amanda Kobiske and Jennifer Kratsch, and brother, William Sekas. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Dutch was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Kobiske, 6 sisters, and 2 brothers.
