George C. Zarling

A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 9, 2005 – 1:00 PM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg for George C. Zarling, 86, of Cedarburg, went to his heavenly home on April 5, 2005 at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus. Interment will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sat. at the church from 11 AM until time of service. Memorials to First Immanuel Lutheran Church appreciated. George was united in marriage to Dorothy Kowalske on April 15, 1944 at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church. George served his country during WWII in the United States Army. George enjoyed gardening and will always be remembered for his kind-heartedness towards family, neighbors and friends. George is survived by his wife Dorothy; children: Gerald Julie Zarling and Susan Dean Goetter; grandchildren: Jaclyn and Jonathan Zarling; Steven and Lisa Goetter; siblings: Edna The late Hubert Stauske and Lawrence the late Leona Zarling; brother-in-law Elmer Diane Kowalske. Preceded in death by 2 brothers: Arthur Evelyn Zarling and Walter Zarling; sister Elfrieda Palmer Groth. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
