Gary R. Juedes

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 7PM at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton for Gary R. Juedes, who passed away peacefully on February 28, 2010, age 65 years. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Cancer Society appreciated. Gary was born February 26, 1945, in Oshkosh to the late Norman and Dorothy (nee Wojahn) Juedes. He entered into active service in the United States Army in June of 1965 and was stationed in Alaska. Gary was transferred to Massachusetts in 1967. His friend introduced him to Mary Traywick. On July 27, 1968, Gary married Marie in Chelmsford, MA. Gary was an employee of GE until his retirement in 2006. There he worked in design and maintenance of CT scanners. During the course of his employment he trained thousands of people worldwide to service and repair the machines. He also volunteered for the WI DNR in the sturgeon revival program, working with the fish from hatch to release. Gary loved to golf and was a member of the Edgewater Golf Club Senior League. He also was an active member for many years of the Grafton JCs. Gary enjoyed fishing but wasnt very successful at it. He was also a member of the Rose Harms American Legion Post in Grafton. Above all else, Gary loved spending time with his family. Gary is survived by his children Dan (Stacy) Juedes of Grafton and Greg (Kim) Juedes of Menomonee Falls; his grandchildren Jakob, Maxwell and Samuel of Menomonee Falls; siblings David (Nancy) Juedes and Joann (Ken) Weichman; mother-in-law Marie (the late Carlton) Traywick; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and by his beloved wife, Marie.
