Gary M. Loos of Grafton, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 8, 2016 surrounded by his family at the age of 72. Gary was born in Chicago, IL on May 2, 1944 to the late Allen V. & Lorraine (nee Horback) Loos. He married Jorjan (nee Karabon) on August 4, 1984 at Faith Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Gary was passionate about volunteering and forming relationships through Habitat for Humanity locally and internationally. He also found joy serving at Crossroads Presbyterian Church as a Deacon and in the SHED Ministry. Gary is survived by his wife Jorjan of Grafton; his children Laura (John) Laundrie of Whitefish Bay, Zachary (Natasha) Loos of Mequon, Sarah (Chad) Thompson of Round Rock, TX, and Laura (Jeremy) Hutchings of Fox Point; his brothers Thomas (Joy) Loos of Cedarburg, and Steven (Georgene) Loos of Lindenhurst, IL; and his sister Judith Loos of Madison. He is further survived by 9 grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday October 14, 2016, 3 PM at Crossroads Presbyterian Church 6031 W. Chapel Hill Rd. Mequon. Family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 2 – 2:45 PM and at the reception following the service from 4 – 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Habitat for Humanity or Crossroads Presbyterian Church would be greatly appreciated.
