Fredrick 'Freddy' C. Wartgow

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013, 1:30PM at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church (4113 German Village Rd.), West Bend. The visitation will be held on Monday, at the church, from 11:00AM until 1:30PM. Interment will take place St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Cemetery. Freddy was born on September 7, 1952, in Butternut, Wisconsin, the son of Norma (nee Wendland) Wartgow and the late Verlin Wartgow. He later married the love of his life, Judy Frankfurth. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Doug and Wendy. Freddy enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, as well as spending time up north at his shack in Butternut. He will be deeply missed by his fishing buddy, Gibby, and all of his friends at Pike Lake Fishing Club. Freddy is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 40 years, Judy (nee Frankfurth); children, Doug (Sandy Sanders) Wartgow and Wendy (Patrick) Fassbender; grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Kasey, and Shane Fassbender; mother, Norma Wartgow; and brothers-in-law, Harry (Diane) Frankfurth and Jim (Mary) Frankfurth. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Freddy was preceded in death by Joyce Wartgow and Jim Wartgow. Judy lost her best friend and the love of her life, on April 4, 2013.
