A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton, for Franklin F. Groth of Grafton who passed away on August 19, 2008 at the age of 87 yrs.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.  Interment church cemetery.  Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church appreciated.  Franklin was born in Grafton, WI on October 20, 1920 the son of the late Erwin and Beata (nee Heidtke) Groth.  Franklin was united in marriage to Norma (nee Hennig) on October 11, 1947 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church on Pleasant Valley Rd. West Bend.  Franklin worked as a farmer all of his live and loved to bowl and play dartball.   Franklin is survived by his wife Norma; Children:  Julie Groth of Portland, OR, Dianne Groth of Bayview, WI, Alan (Ruth) Groth of Danville, IL, Annette (Ronald) Mason of Horseshoe Bend, AR, Jerry (Nancy) Groth of Saukville, WI, Christine Groth of Grafton, WI and Janice (Dennis) Curtin of Appleton, WI; Grandchildren Jackie Groth, Samuel Groth, Jamie Groth, Paul Groth and Alexandria Curtin; sisters Lillian Kohlwey, Myrtle Laubenstein. Doris (Glen) Cram and Mae Cram.  Preceded in death by children Joyce and Judy; and a sister Ethel.
