Florence E. Walker was born to eternal life on August 3, 2018 at the age of 92 with her beloved family by her side. Beloved and best friend to the late Neal Walker. Loving and cherished Mother to Peggy (Steven) Roads, Cindy Walker (Rick Selensky), Mike (Leticia) Walker, and the late Sherrie (Robert) Barelmann. Proud Grandma to Jennifer Weiszer, Tim Roads, Elisa (Josh) Grunwaldt, Steven (Leslie) Roads, Katelyn (Joel) Caudillo, Lindsay Barelmann (Dave Hudack), Kelly Barelmann (Dylan Anagnoustopolous), Justin Ojala, Jeff Barelmann and Shawn Walker. Also Proud Great Grandma to Maxx Brown, Alex Weiszer, Andrew Weiszer, Jason Grunwaldt, Jordan Caudillo, Sofia Caudillo, Madison Roads and Harrison Roads. Florence had a magnificent life. Florence and Neal loved to travel, and passed that travel bug on to their children. She loved to garden and had the most beautiful flowers on her block! Florence would never miss Thursday night Bingo at the Berkshire. And we can’t forget about her love of her almost daily chocolate shakes from McDonalds. We will miss her sass, spunk and wit, her wonderful sense of humor, her incredible love for her family and seeing her beautiful smile. She had a heart of gold, and was the strongest lady we have ever known. What a joyous reunion at heaven’s gates it must have been to see her daughter Sherrie and the love of her life Neal again! A very special thank you to Horizon Hospice for their compassionate care for Florence. A special thank you to her hospice nurse Anessa and caregiver DJ. And a special thank you to Dr. Goniu for his years of care and friendship he provided to Florence. A celebration of Florence’s life will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church(1619 Washington St.), Grafton, on Thursday, August 9, 2018, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held at church, from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM. Burial immediately following at Zur Ruhe Cemetary in Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Horizon Hospice or to St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish are appreciated. Florence touched many lives beyond family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Fly high our newest guardian angel!
