Fern Kannenberg (nee Wittenberger) of Cedarburg passed away peacefully at her home on Monday April 22, 2019 at the age of 77 years. Fern was born in Waukesha, WI on July 15, 1941 to the late Harry & Elsie (nee Schultz) Wittenberger and married Marvin Kannenberg on May 21, 1966 at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Fern retired from Kohl’s Department Store in Grafton where she worked in the shoe department for over 25 years. She was a member of the Town & Country 4-H Club and leader for over 50 years, and also a past member of the Cedarburg Garden Club. Fern is survived by her husband ; Marvin of Cedarburg, children; Holly Marshall of Chehalis, WA and Nowell Kannenberg of Cedarburg, brother; Rev. Denis (Barbara) Wittenberger of Cedarburg, & sister-in-law; Delores Kloehn of Germantown. She was preceded in death by her brother Lyle Wittenberger. She is further survived by 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 29, 2 PM at Mueller Funeral Home W63 N527 Hanover Ave Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 12 noon – 1:45 PM. Interment Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. Memorials of your choice appreciated.
