Evelyn A. Kohlwey

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington Street, Grafton for Evelyn A. Kohlwey, of Saukville who died on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Visitation will be held at church on Saturday from 12:00 (Noon) until the time of Services. Memorials to the church appreciated. Evelyn was born in Cedarburg, Wi on February 18, 1920, the daughter of the late Edmund and Lilly (nee Loehner) Frank. Evelyn was united in marriage to Ruben Kohlwey on February 14, 1942. Evelyn loved fishing and gardening. She raised and sold chickens and also sold home grown vegetables and eggs. She was involved in the 4H as a leader and helped at the Historic Pioneer Village. She was proud to be a farm wife and a homemaker. Evelyn is survived by her sons; Dean (Martha), James (Trudy), David (Deb) and Neil, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brother; Earl (the late Virginia) Frank, sisters-in-law; Anita Eulert, Florence (the late Gerald) Rathke. Renata (Kenneth) Rappold, Lillian Kohlwey and Shirley Kohlwey. She is preceded in death b y her parents, husband; Ruben, daughter; Nancy, brother; Milton (the late Ruth) Frank, brothers-in-law; Walter, Benoit, and George, sisters-in-law; Georgiana Rettman, Esther (the late Martin) Koeller and Eleonora (Benny) Dobberfuhl.
