Eunice Mae Dembeck

Eunice Mae Dembeck Eunice M. Dembeck, of Jackson, was called home to her Lord and Savior, on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the age of 90 years. Eunice was born in Milwaukee, on October 30, 1929, the daughter of the late Alvin Radtke and the late Esther (nee Stoll) Radtke. She later graduated from Washington High School, in Milwaukee, and went on to work as a machinist for many years. Eunice was united in marriage to Erwin P. Dembeck, on March 22, 1952, and together they were blessed with four children, Mike, Carol, Rick, and Jim. Eunice was a longtime active member at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, on Freistadt Road. She will forever be remembered for making desserts for the church, as well as her infamous homemade potato salad. Eunice was a very loving and caring person, who always thought of others before herself. Eunice was a member of the Neighborhood Ladies, which was a group of women, from the Mequon area. Although she loved spending time with friends, her true love was attending sporting events for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, watching the Bold and Beautiful, but anytime the opportunity arose, she loved spending time and just listening to all of the stories being told by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eunice is survived by her children: Mike Dembeck, Carol (Glenn) Barthel, Rick (Debbie) Dembeck, and Jim Dembeck; grandchildren, Jeff Barthel, Stacey Dembeck, and Nick (Angie) Dembeck, great-grandchildren, Reed Barthel, Rollin Barthel, Jaden Schmidt, and Makenna Dembeck, sister, Doris Whitney, and sister-in-law, Arlene Radtke. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin P. Dembeck, and siblings, Beatrice Dembeck, Marilyn Treuden, and Alan Radtke. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, 6:00 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (10729 W. Freistadt Rd.), Mequon. Eunice will be in state, on Tuesday, at the church, from 4:00 PM until the time of service. The Rev. Carl Lehenbauer will officiate the services. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Erwin P. Dembeck, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Freistadt. Memorials of your choice are appreciated.
