She always considered the Blessed Mother, St. Jude and St. Anthony to be her personal confidants. Anyone could call on Jean whenever they needed a willing ear, a warm hug or just a good laugh. She was completely devoted to those she loved. There was always a vacancy at “The Panzer Motel”. After retirement from J.C. Penny’s Credit Department, she enjoyed her involvement in the St. Francis Woman’s Guild. She also enjoyed traveling, memorializing trips with diaries and photo albums. Many more friends were made after moving to Lasata Care Center in November, 2011 where everyone she encountered was met with her smile and kindness. She enjoyed Participating in many activities and spent much of her time sending greeting cards throughout the year. A warm and heartfelt thank you from her family to the wonderful caregivers at Lasata. Jean truly considered them to be part of her family. They gave her love and comfort until the end of her life on earth. God Bless each of you. We also want to thank the countless relatives, neighbors and friends who called and visited her often.
