Eugene J Lisowski

Eugene Joseph Lisowski Of Cedarburg, died peacefully at McKinley Place in Cedarburg on January 28, 2022 at the age of 97. Eugene was born in Arcadia, WI on April 5, 1924 the son of the late Oscar & Sophie (Nee Pierzyna) Lisowski. Eugene graduated from Arcadia High School and Served in the United States Army from September 1945 – November 1946. Eugene was united in marriage to the late Louise (Nee Bersch) on January 31, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Milwaukee and St. Jospeh Catholic Church in Grafton. Eugene retired in 1986 and became the sole care giver for his wife while she battled with cancer. Eugene’s favorite pastimes were golfing, listening to music, most importantly spending time with his family. After Louise died, Eugene volunteered at St. Jospeh’s Hospital Cancer Center in Milwaukee. Some years later he met Marge Wesling and became dear and devoted friends until Marge’s passing in 2019. Eugene is survived by his son, Rod (Joan) Lisowski; sister Loretta (the late Louis) Exarhos, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Eugene was preceded in death by siblings: Alphonse (Gladys), Irene (Odine) Roble, Lillian (Vern) Fordahl, Virginia (Russ) Severson and Oscar Jr. (Charlotte). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 – 6:30 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Parish in Grafton, WI.
