Ethel L. Kidd

Ethel L. Kidd (nee Fraus), of Grafton, died peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the age of 81. Ethel was born in Chicago, IL on July 8, 1937 the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Nee Schnurstein) Fraus. Norman and Ethel celebrated 63 years of marriage on June 11, 2018. Her time and talent was dedicated to raising her five children. Ethel will be remembered for her generosity, strong faith in God, and her flair for design and decorating. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included bowling, golfing, knitting, counted cross-stitching, painting, crocheting, and playing cards or games. She loved being creative and expressed her love of art through color, often decorating in vibrant deep colors. Ethel is survived by her beloved husband Norman; Children: Russell (Lorelei) Kidd, Pamela Nunez, David (Alicia) Kidd, Michael (Julie) Kidd, and Lisa Kidd; Grandchildren: Jason Tetzlaff, Jeffrey (Mariana) Tetzlaff, Justin (Allyson) Nunez, Courtney Nunez, Cody (Jamie) Kidd, Ian (Hannah) Kidd, Cassandra Kidd, and Kellie (Andrew) Thelen; Great- grandmother of 10. She was preceded in death by son Steven Kidd and granddaughter Krista Kidd. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 – 4:30 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St. Grafton. Interment will be at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Freistadt. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 2:30 PM – 4:15 PM A donation can be made in Ethel's name and in memory of her son Steven who died of cancer, to St. Jude's Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate) is greatly appreciated.
