Esther L. Maronde

A funeral service was held on Tuesday November 11, 2008 7:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cedarburg for Esther L. Maronde (nee Filter) 89 of Cedarburg who passed away at Lasata Care Center on November 8, 2008. Interment was at Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation was held at the church on Tuesday from 4:30 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church appreciated. Esther was united in marriage to the late Harry Maronde on November 8, 1941 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Esther enjoyed singing in the church choir; a member of the Luther League; teaching Sunday School; She enjoyed ceramics, sewing and knitting. Esther was Resident of the Year at Lasata Care Center in 2007. Esther is survived by her children Donald (Sally) Maronde and James (Barbara) Maronde; grandchildren Lara (Jeff) Johnson, Justin Maronde, Angela (Steven) Drissel, Brian Maronde, Gregory Maronde and Matthew Maronde; great grandchildren Taylor and Jasmine Johnson and Nora Drissel; a brother Arthur (Frieda) Filter; a sister-in-law Elda Filter and a dear friend Tammy Harisson; other relatives and friends. Esther was preceded in death a son Dennis and by two brothers Elmer (Edna) Filter and Frederick Filter.
