Erna W. Bellin Jeske

Erna Jeske Bellin (nee Gierach) of Cedarburg passed away peacefully on Wed. April 22, 2009 at Lasata Care Center at the age of 90 years. Erna was born in Port Washington, WI on April 12, 1919 to the late Edwin & Ida (nee Schmidt) Gierach and married the late Herbert Bellin on June 29, 1940 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Freistadt. Erna an long time active member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church Ladies Aid & Choir and also the Milwaukee Lutheran High School Guild. She was a member of the Mequon Womens Club and was the Queen of the Thiensville Farmers Market. She is survived by her children Roger (Bonnee) Bellin of Sheboygan, Edward (Judy) Bellin of Cortland, OH, Barbara (Bernard) Strouth of Boise, ID & Kathleen (John) Misany of Waukesha, 1 brother Palmer (Edna) Gierach of Germantown, 2 sisters Milita Bellin of Grafton & Alice (Louis) Scheunemann of Cedarburg. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her second husband Anthony Jeske and 1 grandson Brian. Funeral services were held on Monday April 27, 2009, 11 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Freistadt. Interment church cemetery. Visitation was held at the church on Monday from 9 AM until time of the service. Memorials to the church or your choice appreciated. Cemetery: Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery - Freistadt Granville Rd.
