Eric H. Olsen

Eric H. Olsen Beloved husband, loving father and grandfather, and record holding musky hunter, passed into eternity on March 21, 2017 at the age of 75. A memorial celebration of Eric’s life will be held at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton Wisconsin on Sunday March 26th, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that Eric’s friends make a donation, if they would like, to Horizon Hospice, at Saint Mary’s hospital in Mequon Wisconsin in his name. Eric was born on June 16, 1941 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Raised in Shorewood Wisconsin, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and went on to be a successful business executive, consultant, and entrepreneur. An educated man gifted with a brilliant intellect, Eric went on later in life to earn higher degrees in theology from Sacred Heart Seminary in Wisconsin. Eric is survived by the light of his life, his beloved wife, Barbara Jeanne. Barb and Eric were married on August 11th, 1990 and blessed each other with a wonderful marriage for 26 years. Eric is also survived by his daughter Marit Roche and her husband Acasio Roche III, and his son Erik Olsen and his wife Andrya Coutts. Eric was blessed with five grandchildren, Alexandra, Megan, Acasio, Bailey, and Lilly. He was preceded into eternal life by his son Shawn in 1997. Eric’s intelligence, kindhearted wit, and gentile good humor, endeared him to everyone. He will be greatly missed by all of us who were blessed to have him in our family and all who were fortunate enough to call him friend.
