Elizabeth Folsom Jacobson-Riley

Elizabeth Folsom Jacobson-Riley, (nee Jensen), of Cedarburg, WI, passed away on March 28, 2024, surrounded by family at the age of 82.

Elizabeth, known to her loved ones as Liz, Lizzy, Mom, Granny, Grandma, Aunt Liz, and Eli was born on May 15, 1941, in Edgerton, WI. She attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School and went on to continue her education at UW-Milwaukee.

Liz enjoyed a storied career, punctuated by founding a successful environmental contracting company that she operated alongside her children. Elizabeth, above all else, cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She was a bonus mom to many fortunate people and will forever be deeply loved by her friends and all those that had the benefit to have her as family.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving life partner William Elesh, children Thomas Jacobson, Susan Jacobson-Wallace, Jon (Linda) Jacobson, Wendy (Greg) Kickbush, Joel Jacobson, Mary (Josh) Skarsten, Amanda Riley, Anne (Brian) Murphy, Patrick (Erin) Riley, along with 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth is further survived by her sister Judith Gray, brothers Thomas Short, William (Ellen) Short, Steven Short, and many nieces and nephews.

Liz will always be remembered by her kind soul and generous spirit that connected so many of us together through the love that we all share. In keeping with her brightness, happiness, and optimism, the family requests light and sunny spring attire for the visitation and service.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory (W63 N527 Hanover Ave.), in Cedarburg, from 11:00 AM until 1:45PM. The memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM.

The family would especially like to thank the amazing staff at the Harrison Home, in Cedarburg, as well as Lily Hospice for all of their wonderful care and compassion.
