Eileen E. Amend

Amend, Eileen (nee Larson) joined her Lord in paradise on February 24, 2013, at the age of 63 after a battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Amend; mother and father, Florabelle and Arnold Larson, and sister, Amy Sampson. She is survived by stepchildren Tim Amend, Theresa (Joe) Gervasi, Tracey Amend, and several step grandchildren; brothers and sisters Mary (Richard) Belling, James (Claudia) Larson, Stanley (Arlene) Larson, Grace (Bob) Kretche, and several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews. Eileen and her husband lived and worked many years in Las Vegas, with Eileen returning to Wisconsin and the Port Washington area in 2008. A memorial gathering and service is planned for April 13 from 11:00 – 1:00 with lunch following at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Memorials to the family are suggested. The family will be forever grateful to the many care angels Eileen met and loved at Lasata during her stay there as well as those from Heartland Hospice.
