Earl G. Langhenrich, of Grafton, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on July 9, 2023 at the age of 95. He was born on August 24, 1927 to his late parents, Elmer Langhenrich and Lillian Langhenrich (nee Vlasek). Earl was united in marriage to Mary Ann Langhenrich (nee Lemke) in 1952, their marriage of 70 years was blessed with 3 children, Patrice Jefferies, Linda Hoffmann, and the late Scott Langhenrich.
Because of Earl’s great work ethic, he spent time in the military for his beloved country. He enlisted in the Army, he served two years in the Coast Guard where he worked as a radio operator, and five years in the Naval Reserves. His experience led him to be a member of American Legion Rose-Harms Post 355 in Grafton. After his military career, he earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He then worked as a home builder where he soon became the owner and operator of his own business. Earl and Mary Ann moved from Milwaukee to Grafton and together, built their forever home in 1968. Earl enjoyed doing many activities. As a young boy, he would spend a lot of his time at his grandfather’s farm in Manistee, Michigan. As an adult, he enjoyed hunting alongside his beloved dogs. After retirement, he loved traveling and golfing with his wife.
Earl is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, his two children Patrice and Linda, his two favorite sons-in-law, Jim and Lyle, and special sister-in-law, Lois. He is further survived by his six awesome grandchildren, Steven, Sara, Wendy, Eric, Megan, and Alexander, 15 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and one great great grandson.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lillian, his son, Scott, and his grandson, Jason.
