In Loving Memory of Dorothy Lee Bladow

Dorothy, age 80, of Grafton, was called home to heaven on Friday, February 14, 2025. She began her life in Honey Creek on February 29, 1944, to Milo and Clara Ludtke. Dorothy was a beacon of warmth, faith, and love. She married Lee L. Bladow on June 29, 1963, and moved to Fort Atkinson where they worked at the Fireside Supper Club while putting Lee through college and raising their two daughters, Vickie and Jodie. In 1978 they moved to Grafton where she started working with Levy & Levy. Later she was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Tyree, Bryce, AJ, and Cody. After retiring, she volunteered her time at the church school and helped with the 3K & 4K kids where she became Grandma D to many kids and adults alike.

Dorothy's unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her belief in God provided her with immense comfort, and she shared this faith generously with those around her, offering guidance and encouragement to all who would listen. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful child of God, Dorothy loved spending time with her family, attending every celebration she could, while creating cherished memories.

Dorothy found joy in life's simple pleasures, such as solving crosswords, watching "Wheel of Fortune” and rooting for her beloved Green Bay Packers. She loved mini vacations with her family, especially trips to Wisconsin Dells and any towns with casinos.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Lee; daughters, Vickie (Kevin) Roberts and Jodie Geracie; grandchildren, Tyree, Bryce, AJ, and Cody; and brothers Tom Ludtke and Jon (Jean) Ludtke and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bob, Gene, and Dan, sister Judy, niece Dawn Dzbinski, and nephew Shawn Ludtke.

Dorothy's legacy of faith, love, and joy will forever be remembered by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1332 Arrowhead Road in Grafton, WI, on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the church, from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM.
