Doris Jean (Dori) Buege Nee Frauenfelder

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at 5PM at Community United Methodist Church, Cedarburg, for Doris Jean Dori Buege (nee Frauenfelder), of Cedarburg and formerly of Mequon, who went home to be with her Heavenly Father on October 22, 2010, at the age of 86 years. The family will receive friends at the churchTuesday from 3PM until the time of the service. Pastor David Blackmer will officiate. Memorials to PBS Channels 10 and 36 appreciated. Dori was born in Milwaukee on May 9, 1924, the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (nee Krutza) Frauenfelder. Dori was proud to have graduated from Girls Trades and Technical High School in 1942, the first in her family to graduate. In 1945, During WWII, she took a train to New London, Connecticut to marry her husband Herb, who was in Officers Candidate School with The United States Merchant Marines. After the War she was a busy mother of three Baby Boomers while helping with the ongoing family construction business. Dori and Herb were married for 61 years until Herbs death in 2006. For Dori, family was most important, she was given the job as anchor for the extended family by her mother. It was a job that she cherished. Dori had a love for the Lord and enjoyed her time and as a member of Community United Methodist Church in Cedarburg. Dori is survived by her children: Sandi Andrae of Las Vegas NV, Thomas (Song) Buege of Las Vegas NV, and Timothy (Gayle) Buege ofCedarburg; grandchildren: Bill Clayton III, Tony Klaich, Lara Laak, Walter Laak, Josh Buege and Chris Buege; great-grandchildren: David Clayton, Gail Sandra Clayton, Samantha Suriano and Phillip Suriano; sister Lucille (the late Eugene) Kunda; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert; her sister Shirley (the late Carl) Hanneman and her brother Dewey (the late Joan) Frauenfelder. The Buege family would also like to thank Pastor David Blackmer of Community United Methodist Church and the owners and staff at both Whispering Meadows and Ellens Home for the loving care and compassion they showed to Dori in her final years.
