Donald “Don” J. Blaubach,

Peacefully passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 99. He was born on September 6, 1925, to his late parents, Albert Blaubach and Elva (nee Boesch) in Thiensville, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to his late wife, Madalyn “Maddie” (nee Maul) on June 17, 1950. Their marriage was blessed with seven children, Christine, the late Sandi, Nancy, the late Steve, Deb, Scott, and Mark.

After Don graduated from Messmer High School, he enlisted in the United States Army. He then met his beloved wife, Maddie, where they resided in Cedarburg. Don spent the majority of his career as a maintenance electrician for Mercury Marine. In Don’s free time, he would visit his brother where they both enjoyed repairing cars. Every Sunday, you could find Don watching his beloved team, the Packers. But his one true joy was spending time with his family. 

Don is survived by his children, Christine (Dennis) Goggins of Wautoma, Nancy (Mike) Sipin of West Bend, Deb Baker of Waukesha, Scott (Holly) of Germantown, and Mark (Amy) of Bloomington, MN. He is further survived by his sister, June Depies, 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, along with his son-in-law, Clarence Radue, and other friends and family. 

He is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Maddie, his two children, Sandi Radue and Steve, and three siblings, Ralph, Wallace, and Earl. 

There will be a memorial service held for Don on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton. A visitation will take place from 2:00 PM until 3:45 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission are appreciated. 

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Hamilton House in Cedarburg and St. Croix Hospice for their compassion and care.
