Dolores "Dee" E. Schmidt

Dolores Elaine Schmidt (nee Clark) “Dee”, 88, passed away peacefully Saturday, October, 22 2016 in Grafton, WI. She was born January 16, 1928 in Chicago, IL to William and Magda Clark. On August 14, 1948, she married the love of her life, Bennett Schmidt, and they had two children, Steven and Valerie. Dolores was very accomplished at crocheting knitting, needle craft, and enjoyed playing piano. She worked at Ozaukee Bank for many years, even into her 80’s. She was very proud of her family, and felt that the love of her family for one another was life’s greatest blessing. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Bennett, and her brother, Cal Clark. She is survived by her children, Steven Schmidt and Valerie (Dale) Schultz; siblings, Helen (Merlin) Peterson, John Clark, and Marc Clark; and grandchildren, Brett Schmidt, Nicki (Brian) Schmid, Natalie Schmidt, Shannon Schmidt, Lisa (Jeff) Johnson, and Brad (Amy) Schultz. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM pm at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton, WI. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 NOON until 1:45 pm. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.
