Proud father of Daniel (Karen) Dittman, Michael (Kathy) Dittman and Lynne (Donald) Edler. Grandfather to Danielle, Michelle, David, Andrew, Joseph, Anthony, Zachary and Jeremy. Great grandfather to Sam, Joseph, Sophia, Tristan, Ava, Ethan and Finley After graduating from Rufus King high school, Dennis attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He graduated from the UW School of Pharmacy in 1956. He enjoyed a productive career as a hospital sales representative for Parke Davis & Company. He served his community for many years as the owner of Dittman’s Plaza Pharmacy in Grafton, providing patient care to his many loyal customers. Dennis enjoyed bowling with the guys and golf with friends and Mary. Dennis loved to work on projects, continuously maintaining and improving their homes; and he was especially happy in the town of Cedarburg home they shared for over 45 years. He was fortunate to travel extensively, including several trips to Europe and enjoying Mariner status on Holland Cruise Line. He and Mary also traveled throughout the US, particularly enjoying extended stays in the Villages in Florida and the desert of Arizona. In addition to bring a proud Braves/Brewers and Packers fan, he particularly loved watching the UW football and men’s basketball teams play. Our family acknowledges and thanks family and friends who have supported us through this difficult time. With special thanks and gratitude to the Horizon Hospice team who cared for him at home and the Lawlis Family Hospice caregivers who made sure he was comfortable as he left us to join all who preceded him in Heaven.
