Dennis T. Kranz

Dennis T. Kranz, age 87, passed away on November 29, 2023 with his family by his side. Dennis was born and raised in Milwaukee. He was the youngest child of Harry and Theresa (nee Miller) Kranz. After high school he met his wife Elaine, during dancing lessons at the Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee. Dennis served the city of Milwaukee as a Police officer for over 30 years where he retired as a Sergeant. Dennis and Elaine retired to Port Washington, where they lived for 24 years before moving to Mequon. Dennis enjoyed tennis, hiking, racquetball, exercising with his cardio/rehab group and spending time with his family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elaine (nee Tietyen) and his brother, Bill and sister, Evelyn. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Deborah) and Jill (Cory) Busch, grandchildren: Courtney (Tyler) Mantz, Joshua (Eliza), Taylor (David) Kuzcynski, Ryan and Jacob; and sister-in-law, Betty. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 12 Noon, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton. Interment immediately following the service at the church cemetery. A visitation will take place, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the church, from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the church are appreciated.
