Delores L. Luy

A funeral service was held on Monday July 26, 2004 - 3:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home 979 12th Ave. Grafton for Delores L. Luy Nee Rochol, 86, of Grafton who passed peacefully to her eternal home on Friday July 23, 2004. Visitation was at the funeral home on Monday from 1 PM until time of service. Interment was at Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Rev. John Suelflow officiating. Delores was born on July 21, 1918, in Milwaukee to the late William and Ella Rochol. She was married on December 6, 1939, and was blessed with a wonderful marriage of 50 years to the late Frank Luy. Delores is survived by her two children Alice Carl Horecki of Detroit and Jim Chris Luy of Las Vegas; six grandchildren Bob Luy, Kelly Steve Groppe, Stephanie Mark Balthazor, Sandra Lewis, Susan James Moutgalias, and Jack Kassandra Willey. She is further survived by nine great grandchildren that she adored and was blessed by having her in their lives. Delores was proceeded in death by her parents and siblings, Viola Wendelburg, William Rochol, Jr., and Edna Meyer. Delores was a long-time resident of Grafton where she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and active for many years at the Grafton Senior Center. Delores passed away at the Harbor Cove in Port Washington where she had been lovingly cared for since 2000. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Grafton Senior Center are appreciated.
