Dean R. Goetter

Dean R. Goetter Dean peacefully passed to eternal life on December 14, 2018, at the age of 66 years. Dean was born on October 9, 1952. A lifelong resident of Cedarburg/Grafton, he was an active member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served on various committees and organizations. Dean was a man of faith – an amazing family man who cherished his wife, children, and precious grandsons. Dean’s favorite memories were of time spent at the family cottage on Rest Lake in northern Wisconsin. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the annual Canadian fishing trip with his son and “the guys”. Always up for a good game, Dean was a true Packer and Badger fan. Dean was a retired partner at Ritz, Holman LLP, CPA’s. Dean is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sue (nee Zarling) Goetter. Best friend and dear father of son Steve (Erin) Goetter and daughter Lisa (Andrew) Glaisner. Treasured grandpa of Myles Goetter, Henry and baby boy Glaisner. Further survived by brother Keith (Gail) Goetter, sister Karen (Walt) Zautcke, brother-in-law Jerry (Julie) Zarling, mother-in-law Dorothy Zarling, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Dean’s Life will be held at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Cedarburg on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Visitation will take place prior to the service at First Immanuel Lutheran Church from 3:00 PM until 5:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial to First Immanuel Lutheran Building Fund or to First Immanuel Lutheran Guardian Angel Fund are appreciated.
