Dean F. Bauer was born to Eternal Life on September 25, 2015, at the age of 75 years. Dean was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October 3, 1939, the son of the late Frederic Bauer and the late Delphine (nee Gmirek) Bauer. He graduated from Custer High School, in Milwaukee, in 1959, and continued his education at M.S.O.E. for two years. Dean entered the United States Army where he served in the reserves for seven years. Dean was united in marriage to Jeanine (nee Rondeau) in 1965, at St. Roberts Catholic Church, in Shorewood. Dean was employed by the Nitragin Company, in Milwaukee, for over 33 years, working as a Plant Manager. In years following, he worked at Amcast, in Cedarburg, in the Human Resource Department, and finished his career at Milwaukee Sign Company, in Grafton. Dean adored his beautiful wife, Jeanine. They were blessed with three sons: Dean (Margaret) Bauer, of Elkhart Lake, David (Lynn) Bauer, of Saukville, and Timothy (Michelle) Bauer, of Oak Creek; seven grandchildren: Jeremy, Cody, Josh, Nathan, Brandon, Emily, and Taylor; and three great-grandchildren, Lilah, Elliot, and Oliver. Dean is further survived by his three brothers, Richard Bauer, Don (Diane) Bauer, and John Bauer, other relatives and friends. Dean was a gentle and loving father and husband. He loved trips to the Northwoods, making Minocqua his favorite vacation spot for the last 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with the family camping and fishing. He had a passion for reading, sometimes reading three books in one week. He loved a good game of sheepshead with family and friends, especially when playing with his 3 competitive sons; he was excited to teach his grandkids how to play as well. He loved spending time with the grandkids, whether it was taking them to the park, watching soccer or football games, attending dance recitals or going to school for grandparents day. He was proud of each and every one of them. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
