Dayna L. Groeger (Nee Kopeschka)

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 25, 2009, at 12NOON for Dayna L. Groeger (nee Kopeschka) at the chapel of Resurrection Cemetery (9401 W. Donges Bay Rd.), Mequon, who went home to Heaven to join the party, surrounded by her loving children on June 21, 2009. Dayna was 75 years old. Visitation will be Thursday at the cemetery chapel from 10AM until the time of service. Entombment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association appreciated. Dayna was born in Deer Brook, WI on October 3, 1933, the daughter of Edward and Zellah (nee Fredrick) Kopeschka. She was united in marriage to Ralph G. Groeger on January 1, 1952, at Holy Angels in Milwaukee. Dayna was the beloved wife of the late Ralph. She is survived by her children Patricia (Bryan) Campbell, Gail LeCavalier, Mary (Randy) Kuhn, David (Barb) Groeger and Jane (Tim) Johnson; her grandchildren Chris Campbell, Trisha Campbell, Tina Campbell, Jason LeCavalier, Josh LeCavalier, Sarah LeCavalier, Matt Kuhn, Mike Kuhn, Ryan Kuhn, Kyle Kuhn, Andrew Johnson, Evan Johnson and Amy Johnson; great-grandchildren Ashley LeCavalier, Samuel LeCavalier and Ian Kuhn. The family wishes to thank Aurora VNA Hospice and St. Lukes for their wonderful care and also Elizabeth Mattes for her caring and compassionate care.
