David M. Miske

David (Dave) M. Miske, of Cedarburg, passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 62. Dave was born on November 28, 1961 to his late parents, Martin Miske and Mildred (nee Falk) in West Bend.

Dave graduated from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in 1980. He then worked for Todd Equipment, which later became Arbon, from 1981 until 2015. There he installed and repaired loading docks throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.

Dave loved the outdoors. He took every chance to escape to his property in Waupaca County, where he enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature. He also enjoyed planting and caring for a large vegetable garden on his farm.

At home or wherever he was, Dave began his day reading newspapers with his morning cup of coffee and breakfast from McDonald’s. He will be remembered for his wit and dry sense of humor by his many friends and family.

Dave is survived by his sister, Dolores Miske, niece Rebecca Schouvieller (Matt Miller), and nephew Jonathon Schouvieller. He is further survived by uncles, aunt, his many cousins including Paul Puestow, other relatives and friends.

There will be a memorial service held for Dave on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church, 2740 David’s Star Dr., Jackson. A visitation will take place on Thursday, at the church, from 9:00 AM until the time of service. A committal service will take place, at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Cemetery immediately following the service, with a luncheon to follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to David’s Star Lutheran Church, Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School or Ducks Unlimited are appreciated.
