David J. Leitner

Passed away peacefully, on Friday, June 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving wife, Charlotte (nee Wegner) at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI. David is further survived by his mother, Ruth Volkmann; his sisters, Debbie Leitner and Dawn Berendsen; sisters-in-law, Lora (David) Fuerst, Lois Kraemer; David Berendsen, as well as nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, John Leitner; his grandparents; aunt Joanne Shine; uncles Lester and Russell Volkmann. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church, in Jackson, WI at 2:00 PM. A public visitation will take place at the church from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Memorials to the church or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School are greatly appreciated.
