Daniel William Hilgart Sr.

Daniel William Hilgart Sr., age 68 years. Welcomed into the world on June 2nd, 1953, and born to eternal life on Saturday, May 14th, 2022. Daniel grew up in Grafton, Wisconsin, as one of four children with their proud parents, Fred and Dorothy Hilgart who preceded him in death. He went to Grafton High School, Class of '72. He resided in Grafton, Wisconsin his entire life. He met the love of his life, Diane, and raised their blended family together. Survived by their children; Angela (Matt) Memmel, Keith Reichwald Sr. (Melody), Daniel Hilgart Jr. (Kelly), Nicole (Jake) Stein, and Trista (Keith) Kowalczyk, grandchildren; Patience Reichwald, Justen (Sarah) Hilgart, Keith Reichwald Jr., Cody Reichwald, Dylan Reichwald, Zoey Memmel, Dawson Memmel, Brady Hilgart, Rylie Hilgart, Evan Hilgart, Max Kowalczyk, Easton Stein, and Tucker Kowalczyk, great grandchildren; Hailee Reichwald, Jaxxon Reichwald, and Cole Hilgart. Dearest brother to Fritz (Bonnie) Hilgart, Sue (Andrew) Runkel, and Charles Hilgart. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was an amazing husband, devoted father, loving grandpa/papa, doting great-grandpa, son, brother, uncle, friend to many and so, so much more. He loved his wife with every fiber of his being and adored his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved his dogs, classic cars, being outdoors, and worked hard his entire life to build a legacy his family will proudly carry on. He was the owner of Wisconsin Pump & Sump and his son, Daniel, and grandson, Justen will continue in his footsteps. His infectious laugh, his sense of humor, his witty remarks, and his huge heart will be greatly missed. A private celebration of Dan's life is being held.
